2 Chainz - Based On A T.R.U. Story - Double Fruit Punch Vinyl Records
UPC 602455794444
2 Chainz’s Based on a T.R.U. Story, released on August 14, 2012, is a brash, energetic, and unapologetically flashy debut album that helped solidify the rapper’s transformation from Tity Boi (of Playaz Circle) into a full-blown solo star. Backed by a major label (Def Jam) and propelled by star-studded collaborations, Based on a T.R.U. Story not only launched a new era in 2 Chainz’s career but also became a defining release in the early 2010s trap wave, blending high-octane beats, humorous wordplay, and over-the-top swagger.
Gatefold cover including a double-sided insert.
