"On 5th July, 1954 Elvis Presley recorded 'That's All Right'. It was the start of a seventeen month association with Sun Records that would change both popular music and popular culture forever - and is the single event generally considered to be the birth of rock 'n' roll. In the 50 years that have followed, that day has been so analysed and chronicled that it takes this Golden Anniversary release of that original Sun recording to remind the world just how remarkable it all was. With Sam Phillips at his side, Elvis, over a few short months, invented the sound and look of rock 'n' roll. 'That's All Right' was only ever released as a single in the US and has never actually been released in the UK as a single before – until now."
Released on 5th July 2004 this re-issue sold out and was deleted on the day of release. It is a genuine collector's item already as only 5000 copies were pressed to celebrate 50 years of Rock and Roll. A must-have for every Elvis fan these 10-inch vinyl copies of Elvis's first single are in pristine condition, unplayed and are numbered 3826 and 3827 of 5000.
