Description
This is a lot consisting of TWO HARDER TO FIND U.S. CAPITOL RECORDS BEACH BOYS 45 RPM ITEMS - Details are as follows:
1) SURFIN' SAFARI / 409 45 PICTURE SLEEVE ONLY, NO RECORD - Capitol 4777 - 1962 - Overall condition grade of this sleeve is VG-/VG -- The 'Surfin' Safari' side of the sleeve grades VG with some wrinkles and some contact wear; the '409' side grades VG- with the same flaws plus a few areas where the top layer of paper has apparently been eaten away by the pesty paper eating silverfish we have here in Florida. There is also one small area along the bottom edge where a small split has been created by the same silverfish activity, and a couple of small eaten away areas along the top edge - Please see my accompanying image to view these flaws.
2) 1965 GREEN LABEL 'IN MY ROOM' / 'BE TRUE TO YOUR SCHOOL' U.S. CAPITOL STAR LINE 45 - Capitol 6059 - 1965 Issue 1963 45 - Condition of play surface of record is a SOLID NM with no visible surface marks; condition of labels is VG+ with a previous owner having written the original 1963 U.S. Capitol catalog number 5069 on both labels and a little bit of contact wear. I HAVE JUST ADDED A VG+ CONDITION CORRECT ORIGINAL MID 1960s CAPITOL STAR LINE STOCK COMPANY SLEEVE, in which the record will come packaged, and I have adjusted the lot price accordingly.
This lot will add two harder to find Beach Boys 45 items to your Beach Boys or rock-n-roll 45 record collection for one low price! Media mail postage within the U.S. is $3.50. I WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE - PLEASE NOTE: NEW FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL AIRMAIL POSTAGE TO AREAS OUTSIDE THE U.S EXCEPT FOR CANADA (10.50) AND GERMANY is $14.25 - YES IT'S CRAZY, THIS IS THE U.S. POSTAL SERVICE AS OF 1/27, NOT ME!!! PLEASE NOTE: AN EXTRA $13.95 TO COVER REGISTERED POSTAGE WITH TRACKING AND SIGNATURE DELIVERY WILL BE ADDED TO ALL SHIPMENTS VALUED OVER $50.00 GOING TO BUYERS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES. ALSO, DUE TO THE GERMAN POST AND CUSTOMS CONTINUING FAILURE TO DELIVER MY PACKAGES, I AM FORCED TO ADD AN ADDITIONAL $13.95 TO COVER REGISTERED POSTAGE WITH TRACKING AND SIGNATURE DELIVERY TO ALL SHIPMENTS GOING TO GERMANY. I APOLOGIZE FOR THIS, BUT I CANNOT CONTINUE TO LOSE MONEY AND HAVE MY EBAY REPUTATION DAMAGED BY THE GERMAN POST AND CUSTOMS' INABILITY TO DELIVER MY PACKAGES. BUYER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE! I will give an immediate refund (less shipping) upon return of the 45 and picture sleeve in the condition described above if buyer is dissatisfied for any reason. Good luck!
