Description
For sale is the original DECCA (UK) SXL 2107-8 (2 LP, FFSS/ IE, 2D, IE, 2E) " SWAN LAKE "Ernest Ansermet conducting L´Orchestre de La Suisse Romande. A record with wonderful and emotional interpretation by Ansermet combined with tremendous sound qualities. The records are in excellent quality. Due to the early attempts by Decca to produce covers with thin full-coated board and foil lamination, this cover shows some obvious shortcomings (see attached photo of cover front). Ask for details if you are interested. Please feel free to ask for further information. This is a private sale. Therefore I cannot grant any guarantee, liability or return. "Excellent" by my definition is a record without audible scratches, distortions (if not originally caused by the recording or cutting process) or other shortcomings. Records are mostly graded with old type cartridges like Ortofon SPU, Denon DL 103 e.g.. 'Modern' , more analytic cartridges sometimes may cause more groove or surface noise on vintage records.
