TWO MONK MOSAIC 4 vinyl LP BOX SETS (8 records total). Complete Blue Note; Complete Black Lion/Vogue. Condition is Used. Shipped no extra cost with USPS Media Mail.
Numbered, limited edition box sets for audiophiles and jazz lovers. Mosaic takes extreme care in compiling and annotating the music. Great booklets with great annotations and photos included.
Errata sheet included with Blue Note box.
Blue Note is # 1971 of 7500. Black Lion/Vogue is # 0871 of 7500.
The Blue Note and Black Lion sessions bookmark the recording career (as a leader) of this “musical architect of the highest order”- (John Coltrane). The ringer Vogue sessions are solo piano from 1954. Caution; genius always at work.
LPs in excellent shape; either unplayed or Played Twice. Box for Vogue set is pretty good, but box for blue note set has tears on the bottom side, though it’s intact and looks fine from front or sides. Box quality is Mosaic’s Achilles’ heel. See photos please.
