Description
- Factory recorded 1955 RCA Victor 2 track “new orthorphonic” reel to reel tape of Delibes’ “Sylvia And Coppelia” (RCA Victor CC 30, monaural, 7 ½ IPS). It is performed by members of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Pierre Monteux, conductor. The violin solo is by Alfred Krips and the clarinet solo is by Manual Valerio.
- Please NOTE that this is a monaural 2 track tape and requires a reel to reel tape player that can play the monaural format. In addition, some early RCA Victor tapes did not have a label on the reel itself but had information on the leader (as this one does).
- I play graded the tape and it sounds great. The box is in excellent condition with a split on the lower back edge. Included is a near mint RCA original insert sheet.
