This is a vintage set of two Halloween Vinyl LP records - of fairly disturbing/frightening content (lol) - including the somewhat rare - Sounds to Make You Shiver!: Bloodcurdling! Terror! Horror! (Pickwick, 1974) and Chilling, Thrilling Sounds of the Haunted House (Disneyland Record, 1964) by Walt Disney (NOTE: the added bonus inside . . . "Spooky Party Hints" - is not included).

Both play-tested very well or better.

The Disneyland record is in EXC condition, very clean with minimal marks, plays EXC too.

The Pickwick vinyl has some marks, particularly some light/moderate scuffs, and several light scratches (none deep or heavy) and some pops and crackles result, but overall it plays VG/VG+ with no skips, very good and clear, still with light background noise - as would suit the spooky occasion well.

Covers have some light wear though they are in generally VG+ to EXC- condition (see closeups).

Note to grading scale: Many of our records are play tested, and this will be mentioned in the listing description. If play tested IS NOT mentioned, then a visual grade has been assigned with confidence.

Mint - We will never use MINT for an unsealed record, with one caveat, unless we witnessed, or caused, the seal to break, and we personally know it has been un-played, or only played once by us. We categorize almost all SEALED records as mint (as close as possible, and as intended, by the ability of the press) unless there is obvious damage, said above, to the plastic and cover that could impact the record inside. Covers that deserve the MINT grade must appear perfect, no cutouts, no rim wear, plastic completely intact all around (no tears) with little to no wear or discoloration.

Near Mint - We will we use NEAR MINT (or NM-) for an unsealed record, if it clearly is in great condition and has been play tested. No scuffs, no scratches to the playable surface, plays great (once) without sound/music interference. May have some very minor imperfections. The best we will often assign is the next lower grade - Excellent (EXC+, or EXC++).

Excellent - (EXC+, or EXC++). Very few imperfections, usually play tested at least once, and it played strong with no, to almost none, noticeable distracting sounds effects or interference with the music.

Very Good Plus (VG+, or VG++). Physically in great condition with some minor scratches, other defects that do not significantly affect play, like a few paper scuffs, or hairlines. Usually play tested (unless noted), with some very minor noticeable imperfections, such as light snaps, pops, crackles. 

Very Good (Very Good VG, Very Good Minus, VG-). Noticeable imperfections (some scuffs or scratches), but play tested to not have over-bearing snaps, pops, crackles (some maybe, particularly allowed in fades) but these should have no/few skips on the huge majority of players.

Good - We strive to not sell (and almost always do not sell) records graded less than a strong VG-, unless it is highly collectible, rare, or for some other reason is in great demand. These records will have noticeable and significant imperfections, and they will be described in the listing.
