Two Recordio Discs with Music and Announcer Breaks with War News

These two Recordio discs each contain music with announcer breaks with some war news.  Both records were recorded from Detroit radio stations.

WCAR record:  music plays and is interrupted by a brief announcer break.  Music continues until it ends with the announcer saying it's 2pm Eastern War Time and it's WCAR, Pontiac, Michigan.  He then does a live, long commercial for a furniture store.  Afterwards, he starts reading news about extending the life of the lend-lease act, and the record ends.  Quality is good, recording level is low.  Has surface noise.

Other side is polka music.

WPBK record:  Polka music plays until an announcer breaks in with a news bulletin:  US Naval forces announce that 17 Japanese ships have been attacked or sunk.  After bulletin, music continues. Recording level is okay, quality is okay, there is moderate surface noise.  Announcer is clear and can be understood.  Station is not identified, only what's written on the label.

Other side isw German music.
