Description
A couple of nice, hard to find original pressings of SONIC YOUTH. Includes an original US first pressing of SISTER, Masterdisk stamped and uncensored cover + an original US pressing of FLOWER/HALLOWEEN.
Both came from the collection at Amherst College Radio, WAMH FM 89.3, which ads a nice bit of nostalgia to these.
Both Vinyl LP's are VG+ with only light surface marks that don't effect play. Both LP's have WAMH on the labels: SISTER has it hand written on both sides while FLOWER/HALLOWEEN has WAMH FM AMHERST COLLEGE RADIO stamped on Side two only.
The Covers of both albums are VG/G condition. SISTER has storage wear on the edges and corners and some overall age wear. The seams aren't splitting, just lots of wear. There is a small white labels affixed / wrapped around the lower part of the cover that list "Property of WAMH" and the band/album title (see pictures). The Original Printed Insert is included and in great shape.
The Cover for FLOWER/HALLOWEEN also has lots of storage wear apparent on the edges and corners. SONIC YOUTH is hand written in light green marker on the front and also has WAMH FM 89.3 written in the same light green marker. Additionally there is a small label on the bottom LH corner of the seam with "Property of WAMH" along with the band/album title. There's also another label with WAMH FM AMHERST COLLEGE RADIO affixed to the front. The back cover displays the artwork nicely with some minimal signs of wear.
Both are hard to find and the vinyl lp's play very nicely.
Please look at the photos before you purchase and ask any questions. I'll be happy to answer.
