Description
Antal Dorati conducting the London Symphony Orchestra in "Prokofiev: 'Love for Three Oranges Suite' Scythian Suite" (SR-90006) and the Minneapolis Symphony Orchestra in "Dorati Symphony: 'Nocturne and Capriccio, for Oboe and String Quartet'" (SR90248).
Alone, each of these albums would be a rare find. Together, they make for a unique and really special offer! Both albums are very early pressings. Both are in exceptional condition with no more than 3 very light track marks on either side of both records. Both with exceptional covers, (there is a retailer's sticker on the back of SR-90006 but other than that they are nearly perfect; no corner bends or soft spots).
If you are an Antal Dorati enthusiast or just a collector of rare, classical records...you will want these!
Matrix numbers: "Love for Three Oranges..." SR-90006/ (side 1= FR2), (side 2=FR1). "Antal Dorati Symphony..." SR90248/ (side 1=RFR2 w/P13 in hot wax), (side 2=RFR2 w/P13 in hot wax).
As I've said before, I have little knowledge concerning collecting of classical records, (or any records for that matter) however the gentleman who collected this, and other records, was a collector of records, train memorabilia, etc. He knew what he was doing.
