Mini job lot of 2 x desirable singles by the iconic fashion model and cult mod girl singer. Lesley Hornby aka Twiggy was the face of swinging London. BEAUTIFUL DREAMS was her debut recording that came with a foldout, monochrome artwork sleeve. This was followed up in 1967 by her WHEN I THINK OF YOU single, housed in a pop art influenced sleeve. Quintessentially English moods from baroque pop psych to harder mod rock rhythms of the period. All trax are superb with KPM / De Wolfe Library arranger and composer Johnny Hawksworth directing the psychedelic orchestra backing Twiggy. We have recorded all 4 songs for our soundclip that opens with the freakbeat tinged WHEN I THINK OF YOU followed by BEAUTIFUL DREAMS / OVER AND OVER and the only track that has yet to be comped to date, I NEED YOUR HAND IN MINE. Wistful lyrics galore. Superior production sound on these UK Ember demo pressings too. Great for DJs. Original 4-prong centre to the WHEN I THINK OF YOU single is intact and the BEAUTIFUL DREAMS single is the elusive, small hole issue :) Collectors will agree that either single seldom comes up for sale in top condition. Our WHEN I THINK OF YOU item was taken from an unplayed deadstock of records and played a couple of times before the recording of the soundclip. Rare 45s!!!

Vinyl of the WHEN I THINK OF YOU single is shiny, strong VG++ condition (closer to M-), regardless of a few hairlines / paper scuffs from sleeve removal cum storage. Booming production sound. Some light surface noises. Item taken from an unplayed deadstock of records and played a couple of times before the recording of the soundclip. The thin laminated paper sleeve is in strong VG++ condition regardless of some ring creasing and light edge wear in places. Storage ding / creasing to bottom left corner area (front and back) and a touch of card deterioration to top right corner. Rare 45!!! R&B rhythm blues
Vinyl of the BEAUTIFUL DREAMS single is in shiny, strong VG+ condition with some hairlines and faint scuffs. Some faint surface wear in places. Booming production sound. Some light surface noises. A few soft pops / soft ticks in places (as you can hear on our soundclip). Pen notations to one side of label. The foldout, thin laminated paper sleeve is in VG+ condition with general creasing. Some corner and edge wear. Some crushing to bottom left corner area (front and back). Mini pen notation to blank inner of the foldout sleeve. Rare 45!!! punk
