Description
BEATLEMANIACS! We've purchased a HUGE BEATLES COLLECTION (nearly a THOUSAND items!), and we're still plowing through the pile...so add us to your favorite sellers list, and keep an eye on our buy-it-now bargains and rare auction finds! Here's today's GEAR listing: LOVE ME DO/P.S. I LOVE YOU (Mischief Music RED vinyl, UK-only release from box set #HHA5, 2013): UNPLAYED MINT GEM 45!
Love Me Do was the first Beatles 45 (My Bonnie doesn't count, as it was originally issued as by "Tony Sheridan and the Beat Brothers"). It reached #17 in the UK, which was respectable (helped, no doubt, by Brian Epstein's reputed purchase of 10,000 copies). When it was released in America as Decca #31382 in 1962, it bombed miserably, becoming a super-rare single.
Talk about scarce! There were only 2000 In The Beginning box sets created (in the UK only: not issued in The States); each has original 1961-1962 recordings by The Beatles on beautiful colored vinyl. Undoubtedly one of the rarest commercial Beatles 45s ever pressed; here's one uber-rare disc for your turntable or collection at a killer price.
One only...don't miss it!
COMBINED SHIPPING DISCOUNT: $4.49 sends this single with delivery confirmation; 50 cents ships each additional 45.
