“2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY” SOUNDTRACK LP SIGNED BY DOUGLAS TRUMBULL! (E) W/COA!
The late special effects wizard, who died in 2022, contributed his expertise to many spectacular movies including “Bladerunner” and “Close Encounters,” but he is perhaps best known for the “Stargate” sequence and other other additions to Kubrick’s masterpiece. Here we have the soundtrack album for that movie in Excellent (E) condition signed in silver Sharpie on the cover by the Master himself. He did so several years before his passing when he appeared at a screening of “Silent Running,” a 1972 movie he directed, at the Fine Arts Theatre in Beverly Hills. This item comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA).
