Pls note: slightly opened to carefully remove record in order to determine whether record is the Regular or Variant. This album is the Regular version and has never been played. The shrink wrap is still in tact. 


Mondo presents: 2001: A Lost Score, which has come to vinyl for the first time ever! 

Backstory: "Many of the cues that ended up in 2001: A Space Odyssey were added at the last minute, but the original score by the late Alex North, was abandoned during post production. And North actually didn’t know his score was discarded until he was at the film’s premiere.

Mondo has put the score on wax, with liner notes from Jon Burlingame. It was available at the first ever MondoCon, in Austin, Texas, Sept. 20-21st."
