Description
Seriously cool Estate find!
We love the movie! Bought a large amount of records at the sale and didn't know till we were home that we had gotten this.
It's 'Untitled', The Soundtrack for what would be titled 'Almost Famous'.
Great movie, great soundtrack.
The Cover is very dark and hard to photograph, some of the artists are: Simon & Garfunkel, The Who, Todd Rundgren, Rod Stewart, The Beach Boys, Yes, The Seeds, Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin, Elton John, Nancy Wilson, David Bowie, Cat Stevens, Clarence Carter, And one whole side of the two record set is dedicated to 'Stillwater'! Six songs by the great group.
It's in great condition, some very minor surface scratches, but few of them and nothing significant.
It's complete with poster, both inner sleeves and even a postcard to send in and 'win' a free Classic Records test pressing.
It's a very limited release, with this being #1790 of 2500 records pressed. And, released before the Title was set as Almost Famous.
It is a special record called Quiex SV Super Vinyl. It is supposed to have ultra quiet background.
So, it's an Auction, starting at $175 with Free Shipping. NO RESERVE AFTER THE INITIAL BID. That means it could sell for $176 if there were only one bid. It's worth much more, so I'm hopeful that it goes higher.
NO INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS UNLESS YOU ARE PART OF EBAYS GLOBAL SHIPPING PROGRAM.
