Description

I have up for auction a record (78) on a dark maroon and gold DISCO NACIONAL label made in Argentina, older one; probably earlier to mid 1920s. It is #18138 by Carlos Gardel, Vocals con 4 Guitarras (Ricardo y Barbieri). Selections are "Langosta"-Tango and "Sonando"-Tango. The record is in very good to very good plus condition on Langosta side, very little wear and scuffs and scratches are few, light and almost all surface variety, none deep. A few tiny surface digs during 2nd half of Sonando side (little needle digs, I believe) so some intermittent ticks; downgrade somewhat-but still plays loud and clear. Surfaces fairly shiny and clean.
