Description

MDP-012 Collector's Limited Edition, "Private Recording" identified on each LP. RARE!!  I've seen a few MDP Collector's Limited Edition LPs on line, one for Maria Callas for example.  This 2 LP collection is for "America's Greatest Soprano" according to the inside gatefold notes.  Wikipedia provides this description of Rosa Ponselle:  "Rosa Ponselle (January 22, 1897 – May 25, 1981), was an American operatic soprano with a large, opulent voice. She sang mainly at the New York Metropolitan Opera and is generally considered by music critics to have been one of the greatest sopranos of the past 100 years."
The jacket has some age-toning around the edges, a few scratches, but very little to corner or edge wear, no markings or splits.  Both records stored in plain white inner sleeve and look great - no scratches seen and grading them NM.  See listing photo for track listing.
