Description
This does not appear to be a "First Press" in that I do not see label misprints of song titles. Specifically, other copies on discogs which have similar matrices describe the First Press as having these errors, which mine doesn't have (the titles on the records of this listing are provided in parentheses): A4 "Obladi Oblada" (Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da), A6 "Bungalow Bill" (The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill), B7 'Why Don't We Do It In the Road' (without question mark; there is a question mark on my copy). THE POSTER AND PHOTO INSERTS ARE NOT PRESENT IN THIS COPY. Cover has "The Beatles" embossed, located towards the lower right corner, and sequentially numbered - the number on this is A2330368. The matrices are:
Matrix / Runout (Side 1 run-out etched & stamped ): SWBO1-101-J58 IAM Matrix / Runout (Side 2 run-out, etched & stamped): SWBO-2-101-J45 #5 IAM Matrix / Runout (Side 3 run-out etched & stamped): SWBO3-101-J47 #3 IAM Matrix / Runout (Side 4 run-out etched & stamped): SWBO 4-101-J45 IAM
Jacket with splits front and back gatefold, both at the opening, 3-5", no other splits. Rings front and back jacket. LPs stored in plain white inner sleeve, both LOOK PLAYABLE and I'll grade VG+, with light visible scratches over clean vinyl. Record 1, with sides 1 and 2, has a bit more light scratches and would be at the VG+ level, while record 2, with sides 3 and 4, have less scratches and may be higher than VG+.
