Description

I have been collecting Beatles vinyl and memorabilia for 30+ years. I have now decided to sell my vast collection which includes many rarities. Please follow my auctions for a huge amount of original Beatles vinyl and memorabilia to be listed every week when possible.

The Beatles 'Strawberry Fields Forever / Penny Lane'. R 5570.

On offer here are 2 1967 UK 1st pressings of The Beatles 7" single Strawberry Fields Forever/ Penny Lane. This single is housed within a limited edition picture sleeve of which only 250,000 were produced. All other 1967 pressings were housed within standard Parlophone sleeves.

Two versions of this 1967 single exist both in terms of the vinyl and the sleeve. Both are offered for sale here.

1. Solid center vinyl with BLACK Parlophone logo on the sleeve. Vinyl VERY GOOD. Sleeve VERY GOOD.

2. Push out center vinyl with GREEN Parlophone logo on the sleeve. Vinyl VERY GOOD+. Sleeve VERY GOOD.

It is not known why two versions of this sleeve exist but I always guessed that the green Parlophone logo was a printing error which was corrected to black shortly after production started.

Carefully visually graded with UK Record Collector system.

I will combine postage to save you some money.

LOTS MORE BEATLES ITEMS LISTED.
