Description
Here’s what Forced Exposure has to say about Hürel Arsivi by 3 Hür-El (aka Uç Hürel): “A masterpiece of Turkish ethno-psychedelic delight, recorded between 1970 and 1975 by the three very talented Hur El brothers, and released in small quantities on Diskotur (originals sell for $1000 and up nowadays); this second album has the heavy hashish sound—fuzz guitar [plus the Turkish (electric) saz!], impassioned vocals and Eastern percussion—that makes psych rock from Turkey so savory to the rest of the world; very possibly as good as anything recorded by countryman Erkin Koray.” Originally released in 1976 on Diskotür, this reissue was released in Germany on Damla/Nexus Records. I don’t know when it came out (probably in the mid- or late 1990s), but it is a 180 gram vinyl limited edition. The cover is in E+++ and the record is in M- condition. The reserve on this item is $74.99.
