Here are 3 great albums, Monkees rarities from my collection up for sale: First, a BEAUTIFUL original RARE 1965 STEREO pressing of "David Jones" on Colpix records SCP-493. David's (later "Davey ) PRE MONKEES solo album! David had been a smash theatrical stage performer in England and later on Broadway after trying his hand at being a jockey! David actually performed as "Oliver" on the same night with the Beatles debut on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964!. Shortly thereafter, This solo album was released before David joined up with "The Monkees". David sings Bob Dylan's "It ain't me babe", Dream girl, and more!! Stunning condition for a 49 year old! Record rates near Mint, looks near pristine in stereo! Jacket is designated MONO CP-493EX, near Mint, nearly flawless. All seams EX except 1" split at bottom center. Clean! No signatures or writing! An absolute beauty!
PLUS Here is a RARE pair of Monkees Lp albums from my collection offered up for sale: A superb RHINO repressing of the very HARD TO FIND 1969 album by THE MONKEE'S "Present" on Rhino RNLP-147 in EX condition! This album featuring the band as a trio as Peter Tork had opted out. This was originally released in 1969 on Colgems Records. Great tunes!! Record rates near Mint, super glossy, clean, pristine looking! Has been PLAY TESTED, play with excellent sound quality from start to finish! Super audio quality! The Colgems style Rhino labels are in excellent condition. (see photos). The cover rates near mint, still in factory shrinkwrap with stickers., has deep color, is clean, the binder and all edges have ex solid, no splits, no stains, no signatures, has been well cared for! PLUS "Changes" the RARE 1970 album with only 2 Monkees after Peter Tork & Mike Nesmith had left the group. Released in 1970 on Colgems Records.This is the cool Rhino replica of the Colgems release on Rhino RHLP 70148. Record rates near Mint, super glossy, pristine looking. Has been PLAY TESTED and plays from start to finish with excellent sound quality! The labels are in excellent shape, no signatures (see photos). The cover rates NEAR MINT, still in original shrinkwrap, has bright colors, is clean, the binder and all edges are EX, no splits, no stains, no signatures or writing, has been well cared for!
