3 Northern Soul 45’s – Frankie Crocker, Ghetto, Gonzales
Frankie (Love Man) Crocker on Turbo #0001. I am assuming this is Turbo’s first recording.
Side A – Ton of Dynamite. Kind of a Archie Bell and the Drells sound.
Side B – Confession of Love. A “talking” over voice.
If you have not heard these recordings, you ought to. Great rendition of the early soul-funk sound. Drill hole through the label. Record is glossy but has marks. Can only rate at a G+. Plays through with no skips but with extra sounds. You will not be disappointed with these “historic” songs. Please see photos.
Brothers of the Ghetto on GHETTO records G7394.
Side A. Indestructible Black Man. Great song.
Side B. Rocking Chair.
45 has some gloss and plays through but has marks on it. Will rate it a G+. Some label issues. Another keeper for the music. Please see photos.
Bobby Gonzales on Kapp K-453 X. Promo.
Side A – That Lucky Old Sun.
Side B – Got My Mojo Working.
This is a throw-in record compared to the others. Has marks but plays through. Rate it at G. Please see photos.
Shipping is by media mail and will cost $2.95 or Priority Mail for $4.95.
