Up for sale is this super nice collection of vintage LP 33 rpm vinyl record albums featuring some of the best works of Gilbert and Sullivan. First is a 2-record box set of “The Mikado” (RS 62004) performed by the D’Oyly Carte Opera Company on the London record label. These records are in near mint to mint condition and the box sleeve is in excellent condition. Second, is a 2-record box set of “The Sorcerer” performed by the D’Oyly Carte Opera Compnay with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, on the London record label. These records are also in near mint to mint condition and the box sleeve is excellent except there is a small stain in the upper left front corner. This also includes the accompanying booklet about the opera as shown in the pictures. Finally, included is an 8-record box set “The Greatest Operettas of Gilbert and Sullivan.” This set includes the H.M.S Pinafore, Mikado, The Pirates of Penzance, Trial by Jury, Cox and Box, the Yeoman of the Guard, Iolanthe, Ruddigore, and The Gondoliers. These are on the Murray Hill Records (974193/8). These records are also in near mint to mint condition and the box is excellent.
