I do my best to describe the records as accurately as I can. I am not an expert. Some records are graded by visual appearance only. Some (the more expensive) are Played to check for skips pops warpage etcetera. MY audio system consist of An Audio-Technica Direct drive turn table with either a Shure m78s cartridge for 78s or a Shure M97XE for 45s and LPs. I use a Budgie tube phone pre-amp, MARANTZ SR7007 receiver, custom speakers with Bema 15in woofers Seas Excel W18EX-001 mid base drivers and Rall 140-15d ribbon tweeters. Not the very best but I can defiantly tell a good record from bad.
