Description
Very nice copy of this 1958 release on Columbia Records (33CX 1515) with its original Blue and Gold label design. Janos Starker (cello) plays J S Bach's suites for unaccompanied cello No. 2 in D minor (BWV 1008) and No. 5 in C minor (BWV 1011)
Condition is excellent. There is some slight loss of laminate on the right hand side of the front sleeve but otherwise the sleeve is very fine indeed with no tears, creases or seam splits. The spine is perfect.
This record has scarcely been played at all and the vinyl surfaces are visually in mint condition with no scratches or abrasions. The spindle holes are also unscuffed. Playback is marvellous with only the very faintest surface noise and no clicks, pops or crackles. You will be very lucky indeed to find a copy as good as this again.
Beautiful performances of beautiful music in absolutely beautiful condition. What are you waiting for - Bid !!
