Please email with any questions. Thank you. lpboxbase russ DISCOUNTED RECORDS MUST ALL BE PURCHASED AT ONE TIME. E+ (or NM), rarely use on 78s, E, E-, V+, V, V-, Poor VINYL GRADING (Visual !!): My LPs are visually graded, most of the LPs I have/am listing are from an OLD and well cared for HUGE Jazz record collection (50K to 75K 78s, LPs + 45s). Many times the vintage vinyl (1950s + 1960s) from this collection, visually grade above average E to E- visually sharp- they are obviously not scratched or abused, they are so old that they have some background noise in most to many cases ( they all have noise to some degree). My brother is recording many/ most of these LPs before I list them and he notes if there is abnormally bad noisiness or obvious defects--this is NOT a play grade--he just notes the real obvious bad stuff. Like I stated before, most vintage vinyl + 78s have noise -some are better some are worse. The letter grades are strictly visual.
33RPM 10" Prestige (Original) PRLP 130 New Sounds from Boston Charlie Mariano Octet visually V This rare circa 1952 LP, is visually an average V, medium flaws and wear. My brother just got done recording this (along with 75 other 10" vinyls) in the past month or so, he notes if there is excessive noise or any obvious defects, he did not note anything notable (defects or excessive noisiness) about this record, I must say that most of the early 1950s vinyls are a bit noisy according to my brother--don't expect this to sound like a noiseless CD--it probably has some noise they all do (my competitors too), even the E looking copies of these early vinyls are many times noisy. Inspecting this I do see a tiny bit of gunk at the start of the 1st Boston song, my brother didn't note anything about that, but that has some junk in the 1st few grooves of that side. There is nothing else notable on the surface beside run of the mill medium vinyl wear and flaws, scattered medium everything, see my 5 photos. Graded visually. The jacket (see pixs above) is V ish to V- ish with the worst flaw being the discolored tape on the edges--not much else to talk about the jacket--just the tape and the pixs tell the story. Only have 1 of this. Please email with any questions. Buy this now for $49.95, you can try best offering me--but this kind of stuff is rare. I may not budge.
