Our GRADING for pskorst, bigbillkorst2 + bigbillkorst is E+ (or NM), E, E-, V+, V, V- and Poor. strict grading VINYL GRADING (Visual !!): My LPs are visually graded, most of the LPs I have/am listing are from an OLD and well cared for HUGE Jazz record collection (50K to 75K 78s, LPs + 45s). Many times the vintage vinyl (1950s + 1960s) from this collection, visually grade above average E to E- visually sharp- they are obviously not scratched or abused, they are so old that they have some background noise in most to many cases ( they all have noise to some degree). My brother is recording many/ most of these LPs before I list them and he notes if there is abnormally bad noisiness or obvious defects--this is NOT a play grade--he just notes the real obvious bad stuff. Like I stated before, most vintage vinyl + 78s have noise -some are better some are worse. The letter grades are strictly visual. I mention if my brother noted something bad he heard.
33RPM AFRS Armed Forces Radio Service BML P 299 P300 SSL 615 SSL 616 - Major Glenn Miller Orch, Overseas Air Force AAFTC Orch., high grade E or V++, other scale, songs on labels Songs are - Over There / with Mel Powell, Mike Hucko - A Mission to Moscow / It Must Be Jelly //Enlisted Man's Mess / Sleepy Town Train / Speak Low, vocals Johnny Desmond This incredibly rare music vinyl is sharp, high grade, this is little wear + few visible light flaws, everything is light + minor on this, very well kept, few to no scratches, well above average looking, looks barely to lightly used, great shape vinyl, my brother recorded this and he noted it is basically average noisy--considering this is probably 70 years old--you can't expect CD sound with something totally 1 of a kind like this. This is a dub of a AFRS 16" transcription I believe. Graded visibly. The labels have a little wear--labels meticulously made by the gentleman who did this dub probably 70+ years ago. This will come with a vintage generic sleeve it has been stored in for 6-7 decades, see the 11 photos above. Only have 1 of this. This comes from a great old Jazz record collection.
