Please be aware that all the following colour & black & white slides [transparencies] are sold without copyright [reproduction rights] and are therefore only sold as COLLECTABLE or POP MEMORABILIA items.

This is one of many unreserved auctions for the dispersal of a recently acquired "Beatles" [Plus later photographs and slides of the individuals Paul McCartney, George Harrison, John Lennon & Ringo Star] archive consisting of a quantity of original vintage b/w photographs, colour & b/w 35mm slides and larger colour positive slides to be sold in the forthcoming weeks. Photographers include the following: Curt Gunther, S.K.R. [Scott K. Runyen], Jorie Gracen, Ken Regan [ -2012] [Camera 5], Paul Cox, David Koppel etc etc.

*This is a 35mm colour slide and is being sold as "Vintage" as l am unable to verify correctly their exact date of manufacture. Previous owners being [L.F.I.] London Features International Ltd.*

 Curt Gunther [1923-1991] whose photographs appeared in Time, Newsweek, People, Life and TV Guide magazines and who was chosen by the Beatles to accompany them on their 1964 American tour. His photographic account of that famous journey, "Beatles '64: A Hard Day's Night in America" was published in 1989 on the 25th anniversary of the tour. Gunther also was known for his portraits of celebrities, including Joe Louis, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra and the Kennedy family. In New York City on Friday of a heart attack.
