1663. 4 VINTAGE 78 RPM RECORDS ~ DIVA 2706-G AND 3012-G, VELVET TONE 1945-V AND 2066-V

4 vintage 78 RPM records, all feature Annette Hanshaw on vocal, are all playable, and these items date from the later 1920's.  This listing includes:

1.  DIVA 2706 - "I Can't Give You Anything But Love" / "I Must Have That Man!"

V- condition, labels have light scuffs, scratches, and old sticker residue on "Love"; surfaces have scuffs, scratches, a few small edge lams (do not affect play), and graying; plays with some surface noise and light static.  

2.  DIVA 3012 - "Tip-Toe Thru The Tulips With Me" / "What I Wouldn't Do For That Man"

V condition, labels have light scuffs and scratches; surfaces have light scuffs, small scratches, small "moon lams" on "Man" (not through to other side, light tics that pass), and some light graying; plays with light surface noise.

3.  VELVET TONE 1945 (with Frank Ferera's Hawaiian Trio) - "Pagan Love Song" / "Ua Like No A Like" ("Pagan" label on both sides in error)

V+ condition, labels have light scuffs, scratches, and small tears around spindle hole on one side; surfaces have light visible scuffs, small scratches, and a few areas of light graying; plays with light surface noise.

4.  VELVET TONE 2066 - "I'm A Dreamer, Aren't We All?" / "If I Had A Talking Picture Of You"

V- condition, labels have light scuffs, small scratches, and light fading on "Picture"; surfaces have visible scuffs, small scratches, light groove wear, and graying; plays with surface noise and some static.

 GRADING IS CONSERVATIVE USING THE VJM RECORD GRADING SYSTEM:

N (78). As new and unplayed (there are virtually no 78s that can categorically be claimed to be unplayed).

N- (78). Nearly Mint, but has been played. No visible signs of wear or damage.

E+ (78). Plays like new, with very, very few signs of handling, such as tiny scuffs from being slipped in and out of jackets.

E  (78). Still very shiny, near new looking, with no visible signs of wear, but a few inaudible scuffs and scratches.

E- (78). Still shiny but without the luster of a new record, a few light scratches and scuffs.

V+ (78).  An average condition 78 in which scuffs and general use has dulled the finish somewhat. Wear is moderate but playing is generally free from distortion. Surface noise not overly pronounced.

V (78). Moderate, even wear throughout, but still very playable. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive.

V- (78). Quite playable still, but distortion and heavy graying in loud passages. Music remains loud in most passages. Surface noise and scratches well below music level.

G+ (78). Grey throughout but still serviceable. Music begins to sound muffled. Heavy scratches.

G (78). Quite seriously worn and scratched, but music level is still higher than surface noise.
