FOREIGN BIDDERS:  Please refer to the information regarding shipping at the end of the Auction Description!

PLEASE NOTE: 78 RPM RECORDS ARE VERY FRAGILE!  THEY MUST BE PACKED AND SHIPPED WITH GREATER CARE THAN LP’s OR 45’s. I TAKE GREAT CARE IN PACKING AND SHIPPING 78’s, USING PLENTY OF CUSHIONING MATERIALS AND STRONG CARTONS TO PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT AND ASSURE YOUR SATISFACTION. I HAVE NEVER LOST ONE TO DAMAGE IN TRANSIT.

This is a SEALED 78 RPM album probably dating back to the 1940’s. Since it is SEALED in opaque brown paper, I cannot scan the covers, interior or records to illustrate for you the contents. One of my pix shows the edge of the wrapped album and the sticker placed on it by Columbia identifying the contents as “Hot Jazz Classics, Boogie Woogie, Vol. 2” along with the Columbia logo and set # C-130.

I believe the album contains 4 - 78 RPM, 10 inch discs featuring Champion Jack Dupree, Jimmy Yancey, James P. Johnson, Pete Johnson, Charlie Spand, Meade Lux Lewis, Kenny Kersey & Mary Lou Williams.. I’ve included a picture that I found on the Internet of one of the records – it is not a picture of the actual record included in this album but is illustrative of a disc that should be part of the set. It is Record #37335, Album side C-130-5 - CHAMPION JACK DUPREE, Blues Singer with Piano and Bass Accompaniment performing "DUPREE SHAKE DANCE". The other side of this record is by JIMMY YANCEY - Piano Soloist, performing "BEAR TRAP BLUES”, Record #37335, Album side C-130-6.

As can be seen from my pix, this album is still SEALED in its pristine original wrapping, just as it was when it left the Columbia factory many, many years ago. It will be carefully packed for shipment. See my feedback for Buyer testimony relative to my packing abilities.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY!

PAYMENT:

I only accept payment through PayPal, unless you have made other arrangements with me prior to bidding.

Payment should be made promptly on “Buy It Now” items and should be made soon after your receipt of an Invoice following the end of a regular Auction. However, see below if you are buying more than one item.

SHIPPING:

Domestic (USA) bidders: I will combine items purchased within one week for shipping savings. In the event you are bidding on more than one item or plan to do a “Buy It Now” on more than one item, please do not pay for any single item until I have sent you a combined Invoice for all of your purchases. Letting me know the reason for any delay would be appreciated.

Foreign bidders: I’m sorry, but eBay’s present “Global Shipping Program" rules do not provide for combined shipping. If you want to buy more than 1 similar item, message me with specifics and I will list them together as a “Buy It Now” and alert you so you can then complete the transaction and all similar items can be invoiced and shipped together.
