Description

  (4) E. Berliner Phonograph Gramophone Record 7" 78 rpm

Let me start by saying that the labels are easier to read from an enhansed scan then visually. All grooves look as if the records received plenty of play. I played them...they all play. Lots of noise but all enjoyable. I will describe them the best I can.

  1. A talk By Happy Cal Stewart The Yankee Comedian. The record is stamped  July 9, 1897. The number on the record is 690. No scratches or scuffs, just wear.
  2. Bugle Calls by Chief Trumpeter Cassi of Roosevelt's Rough Riders. Number 3438Z. Small scratch at beginning. Just wear.
  3. The Band Played on sung by Dan. W. Quinn. Dated may 18, 1897 (all hand written). No scratches, a few depressions that did not appear to effect plat. Number 961ZZ. Just wear.
  4. Auction Sale of a Piano Recitation by Mr. George Graham. Number 644X. a couple of scuffs and some depressions. Just wear.
