Original United States pressing of this hard to find 7 inch record on the teal and silver Capitol Label. This listing includes both the record and original cover. Includes ROLL OVER BEETHOVEN, THIS BOY, ALL MY LOVING, and PLEASE MR. POSTMAN.
COVER: The only thing keeping this jacket from grading a nice VG+ is a less than 3 inch top right seam split. This is the only splitting on the cover. The color on both the front and back has survived very well and there is only a small amount of light surface wear on both sides of the cover. One side of the jacket has “Apr64” written in blue with a ball point pen. It looks like there used to be three pieces of clear tape, each measuring about 1 inch, over the seam split area on the top right corner. It was removed exceptionally well years ago without tearing the cover, however you can still see the outlines. This area is not sticky. Overall a really nice looking cover.
VINYL: This record is clean and retains a considerable amount of its original glossy luster. The vinyl shows a bit of light scuffing and a few light scratches. We noticed nothing that can be felt on the grooves. This record grades VG+. The labels show only a small amount of light wear and are in very nice shape with no writing.
