Description

Here are four albums from John Martyn, two absolute classic mid career albums in "Solid Air" and "One World", and two lesser known albums in "The Tumbler" and "Well Kept Secret".   
These are all in great condition. 
The first three are all later editions, not first pressings. Solid Air is from the Island Life Collection,  25 Year series. 
Well Kept Secret is a German pressing, but UK release. 
All are exactly as per the photographs attached. Vinyl is very good/excellent. Play very well indeed. 
The Tumbler - 1968 - Island Records ILPS 9091 (Day and Night Island labels, black inner)
Solid Air - 1973 - Island Records ILPM 9226 (White with multi-colour band around labels, plain white inner)
One World - 1977 - Island Records ILPS 9296 (Day and Night Island labels, card lyric inner)
Well Kept Secret - 1982 - WEA K99255 (Cream labels poly-lined paper lyric inner)


The Tumbler - John Martyn's second album released on Island Records in October of 1968. The album shows a progression from his previous solo folk offering to a more expansive sound including significant contributions from jazz flautist Harold McNair.

Solid Air - the fourth studio album by the folk singer-songwriter John Martyn, released in February 1973 by Island Records.

One World - November 1977 album by John Martyn. One of his more experimental works, it features atmospheric, reggae influenced rhythms and free-flowing, jazzy arrangements. Acclaimed for its collaborative spirit, the album includes contributions from Lee Perry on "Big Muff", and Steve Winwood.
