Up for auction is a great lot of original 1950s Elvis Presley 78s all made in Canada.I also have up 1 other lot of 3 original Elvis Canadian 78s for one price also.I can combine all 7 to save on shipping if the same person wins both auctions.These 4 78s all have the same RCA Victor record numbers as the U.S. versions and also came out at the same time.The first 78 is a 1956 78 on RCA Victor label # 6640.Songs titled Blue Moon on one side and has Just Because on the other side.The Blue Moon side has some very light and light scratches with 5 small scratches I can feel with fingernail.Also has scuffing marks Please see picture.Some groove wear on this side but still has quite abit of nice groove shine.The Just Because side has some very light and light scratches.None of the scratches can be felt with fingernail at all.This side has scuffing and also quite abit of groove wear but still has groove shine.2nd 78 is a 1956 Canadian 78 by Elvis and is on RCA Victor label # 6604.Songs titled Don't Be Cruel on one side and has Hound Dog on the other side.The Don't Be Cruel side looks to have very light and light scratches with 10 scratches I can feel with fingernail.Also has scuffing marks and groove wear.The Hound Dog side has multiple scratches with about 16 that can be felt with fingernail.Has scuffing and groove wear and also has a very tiny knick on very outer edge of record which does not come close to the grooves at all Please see picture to see how tiny this is.3rd 78 is a 1957 Canadian Elvis 78 on RCA Victor label # 6800.Songs titled Playing For Keeps on one side and has Too Much on the other side.The Too Much side has some very light and light scratches with 4 small scratches I can feel with fingernail.Has scuffing also.The Playing for keeps side has some very light and light scratches with 4 scratches I can feel with fingernail.There is also a 1 1/2 inch deep feeling scuff on this side but it did not pop or tick on my record player.Has some lighter scuffs also.Has some groove wear on both sides but still has pretty good groove groove shine.3rd 78 is a 1958 Canadian 78 by Elvis Presley on RCA Victor label # 7150.Songs titled I Beg Of You on one side and has Don't on the other side.The I Beg Of You side has some very light and light scratches with 8 scratches I can feel with fingernail.Some light scuffing.The Don't side has very light and light scratches and has 10 scratches I can feel with fingernail.There is a 1 1/2 inch deep feeling scratch on this side which causes a light tick.Some light scuffing also.Has some light groove wear with a little more than light on the Don't side but both sides still have very nice groove shine.I have read about 78s pressed in Canada in the 1950s is that they play better than 78s pressed in the U.S.The book claims a Canadian 78 graded Vg will play quite abit better than a U.S. 78 graded VG.Not sure why this is but probably something to do with the shellac they were pressed on.I mostly deal in U.S. records so I don't have much info on these Canadian 78s.If you have any useful info on them Please E Mail.Also if the buyer is not 100% satisfied I have a return for refund policy on all records I sell.Please check my other auction of a lot of 3 Canadian Elvis 78s if you like.
