"Kassidat El Ouissaya"


A rare disc by the Soussi maestro Rais Boubaker. His real name was Boubaker Ben Ahme Ibn Talib, but he became known by the name Inchad. He was from the Souss-Massa-Draa region, from Tiznit in the Agadir region, and was often playing alongside other greats of the Rwayes of Tiznit such as Hadj Belaid. This disc is reissue of a Baidaphon disc that was originally recorded on 78 rpm disc, but remains a rare testament to the musical mastery of the Amazigh legend.


Vinyl:  NM-    the disc is near perfect, but there is some surface noise and clicks etc from the original 1930's 78 used as the master for this reissue.

Cover:  NM    great shape! as new!
