RARE 45 RPM ON PUERTO RICA LABEL, MARVELA, FEATURING A LATIN QUARTET TRYING THEIR HAND ON US ROCK 'N' ROLL!
Marvela PRR 4097, produced in the 1950s. This "Los Hispanos" is not to be confused with a group of the same name, Los Hispanos, who, according to discogs, was a "Columbian cumbia group, created in 1964." These are four individuals "Carlie Tato Wison Carmelo" and was a Puerto Rican group who released Latin songs on this same Marvela label, both on 78 RPMs and 45s, a few of which can be found online including on eBay.
This is their attempt at "Rock 'n' Roll" with "Rock Around the Clock" and "Tutti Frutti". TRULY UNIQUE! The record was found in an album with brown sleeves, and the sleeves were removed to store the 45s. It LOOKS QUITE PLAYABLE with a faint scratch or scuff over clean vinyl, I'll grade VG++.
