Vintage - if not rare then very, very uncommon - radio station transcription disc jockey record with 4 artists from the mid-1950s including Patsy Cline, Sammy Masters, Eddie Miller, The Miller Brothers.

I have been collecting records for 20 years and these are the only 45 rpm 4 song format radio station transcription records I have seen. I currently have 3 listed on Ebay. This is from the mid-1950s and was issued by 4Star. And it contains two of the earliest Patsy Cline records. 4Star owned the rights to record Patsy Cline but contracted with Decca for actual recording and distribution so early Cline records were on Decca, not 4Star. Later, 4Star would sell 45s with Patsy Cline songs, but these may be the only 45 format recording of Patsy issued by 4Star in the mid-1950s, albeit the special ED 4 song 10" format. These two songs were recorded in early 1956; that is as close as I can come to dating the record. This would have been used by 4Star to promote new artists to get airtime and audience awareness. Note the request on the left side of the record asking that playing time be recorded so royalties could be properly played. I think their use was very short-lived.
