Description
In 2016 I developed new processes to make disc records. Production technologies and physical properties of the early materials were examined and recreated using modern materials. 5" Berliner reproductions are stronger than gutta percha originals and have similar hardness and density. They look like the originals and feel like them in your hand. The fidelity is the same as the original it was copied from.
This auction is for a reproduction copy of 5" Berliner #278 "Crambambuli". This is a popular German song which has been around forever. It's easy to interpret it as some sort of advertisement for a drink, but it's just a fun piece of German culture. The original copy this one came from is in excellent condition and new lyric sheets have been printed on the correct color paper (green for German market).
The winner will receive the physical disc shown in the pictures and the envelope.
