On offer here are five Classic Captain Beefheart Albums which chart his journey from Blues Rock Psychedelia to Experimental Lunatic Genius.
Don Van Vliet was a massive and original talent and influenced countless musicians over many decades and through many musical genres.
These are not first pressings, but form a library of Beefheart songs on vinyl which will be a superb, and affordable, addition to a collection or a starting point for someone who has heard of the great man but wants to learn more about his originality and importance to the development of music.

All these albums have retained a full gloss vinyl with only some faint hairlines under bright light.
SHINY BEAST is the exception, it has some wavy (unfeelable) scratches on side 1 which don't cause any problems apart from an occasional faint tick.
Most have some crackle on the lead-in and some light noise in some quiet places but play with excellent clarity and power. Excellent stereo separation and all frequencies are clear, with no distortion. TROUT MASK REPLICA has virtually no interference at all and plays like new.
Labels are excellent, outer sleeves are excellent, as are the inners.
An important set of ground breaking albums by an acknowledged genius and a total one-off.
