Description
5 MILES TO MIDNIGHT. 1981 Metal Mother Stamper X 2. Caberet Voltaire. Goth, Punk.
Very rare metal mother stampers of this 1981 rare ep from Sheffield. The first release on Pax records via cherry red.
These were used to make the finished article back in 1981. Because of the nature of these. They are back to front/upside down. But you could press more copies!!
All artists are from that post punk new wave scene out of Sheffield back in the late 70s early 80s.
Artists include - The Doormen, Mortuary in wax and I scream brothers who were co produced here by Caberet Voltaire. Tracks include - choices, alternatives, the face, tree growing wrong and avoid the surgery.
A very rare one off.
The stampers are in good shape although have coloured over the years. In their original studio cardboard covers with white paper circle to keep them safe.
