VERY INTERESTING...but before going further, please note these qualifiers: the records were found stored in a single sleeve (fully torn on right edge from storing too many LPs) and have scratches - clean playability is questionable, and there is not likely a lot of airtime here as there were generous run-outs and 3 of the 5 LPs were single sided.
Still maybe some interesting air time from Jack E. Pulwers! The plastic lined (and split) sleeve said, "Records of Jack E Pulwers as Newsman, Reporter & News Director 1957-1960 at WTIX New Orleans and some WADO, New York 1960. Concerns such events as Mayor DeLesseps in New Orleans for his 4th Term, Covered Jack's Famous Announcement when he jumped on stage with Mayor Morrison to Inform Mayor of his victor to Tremendous Applause." The first listing photo of the individual records, an Audiodisc, probably has this announcement - "Inauguration of Mayor Morrison of NO Covered by J. Pulwers". This is a single-sided record. In sequence from listing photo 3-6, Record 2 is double-sided but with very small amount of grooved sections, Record 3 is single-sided with small amount of grooved sound, Record 4 is double-sided, and Record 5 is single-sided.
On Jack Pulwers from his online obituary: "He was a distinguished historian, journalist and author. He maintained a long career in network radio and as Broadcast Chief in the Armed Services Radio and Television Service, and authored several acclaimed books, including The Press of Battle, on WWII."
