I have for sale 5 RARE, VINATGE COLUMBIA Vinyl RECORD LP RED S/C (Semi -Circle) STEROPHONIC - from "The Beethoven Symphonies" series - with OTTO KLEMPERER conducting the "PHILHARMONIA ORCHESTRA". They are Vintage in age ranging from 1958 - 1961. Grab yourself a lovely collection i'm sure a lot like this in such good condition wouldn't come up that often.
They were my Uncle's who had a very large classical Record Collection. Visually they look like they have hardly been played and the covers are in very good condition please see photo's. The Inner cream/white covers are in VGC but do show some vintage discoloration and a few creases (please see photos). I have not graded them because I do not have a record player so i am unable to test how they play so can't say for sure what the playable quality is but i can tell you visually they look like they are in excellent condition and i can't see any scratches on them.
All records in this collection were released by Columbia Records in the SAX Second STERO Series (SAX2000’s from SAX2252 to SAX2538) . The records here range from – SAX 2318, SAX 2331, SAX 2354, SAX 2260 and SAX 2415. These records have a red label and black writing. The name Columbia is written in white in the upper half of the label above a black semi circle which contains a musical note logo in white and “Long Play” in red. The name “Columbia Records” is written again in the logo along with the words “Magic Note”. "Semi Circle (S/C) or ERI (English Red 1st). Made in GB.
