Description
50s Ultra Rare Rockabilly Cliff Davis 45 Record Hear it Listen to "Rocky Road Blues" Free Shipping Worldwide Looking for something new to play? Here it is a truly rare rockabilly record from Cliff Davis and his Kentucky Play Boys. This record was released in 1956 on Jay Jay records is one of the most difficult rockabilly gems to unearth. This is the only copy that I have ever come across.
This record has been examined under a bright light source and has a few imperfections which I must explain to you. First and foremost, there is a little 4mm fracture or crack, which begins at the outermost lip and extends in about 1 to 2 mm. It is still very tight and does not affect play. In fact, you would have to look very hard to find it.
Second, there is a small amount of writing on the center label of the "Rocky Road Blues" side.
Third, this record was stored without its protective paper sleeve for years, and thus has several surface scuffs.
Overall grade (visual plus auditory) is VG to VG- ...mostly because of the crack. I stand behind my record sales, and want you to be 100% satisified with the records you receive from me.
Postage is free this week, so please take a look at my other record auctions.
