Description
Elvis Presley "Rock 'n' roll" 1956 U.K. vinyl album HMV CLP 1093. Please see pics and use zoom for close ups.
PLEASE READ ALL THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE YOU BID ON THIS RARE LP!!
For the eyes: the record is still nice and shiny, but it does have quite a few light surface marks and there is a scratch on side two - we'll come to that later. Overall visually in good + condition.
For the ears, side one: There's VERY slight run in crackle and track one plays perfectly. Track two has stylus damage hiss at the very start for a few seconds and some light crackle during play, still sounds great. Track three has slight crackle during play, nothing significant and stills sounds brilliant. Tracks four, five & six have VERY slight crackle during play, hardly noticeable and still sound brilliant.
For the ears, side two: There's VERY slight run in crackle. Track one has that scratch I mentioned earlier - it looks worse than it sounds, and only gives a light click for about six turns, nothing that spoils and still sounds great. Tracks two to six all play perfectly and still sound brilliant. Both sides have crackle between tracks, but nothing above average for an LP of this age. Both labels are nice and clean - see pics - and only have minor spindle marking.
For the eyes: the cover is VERY scruffy and not in good condition. Creases, small rips on the opening, spine cracks and a torn flipback. I've covered it all in the pics, so please use the zoom. It's still shiny and has no seam splits; still doing a reasonable job - I've seen worse!
If you want a collector's copy of this rare LP this is not for you at all, but if you want a great sounding copy to play and enjoy, we're in business.

Non-payment is becoming a big problem! - please read BEFORE you bid....
Payment is by Paypal only. Please pay within 7 days of auction end. The eBay unpaid item assistant programme takes over after 7 days, and non-payment after that results in eBay non payer strikes that can affect you being able to bid on other sellers auctions - please see eBay small print for details.
If you have low feedback (under 50) or private feedback, please contact me before bidding (why keep it private if it's good?!) - low / private feedback bids maybe cancelled without prior notice. Sorry if this sounds a bit heavy, but the majority of non-payment comes from low & private feedback bidders, and it is getting out of control.
All items dispatched within 24 hours of payment, same working day for payments received by 3pm.
Money back guarantee if not delighted!
PACKING: All vinyl is shipped with record outside the cover to avoid seam splits in transit. Extra stiffners, foam wrap and high quality mailers ensures your record is dispatched to arrive in top condition. I'm very proud of the fact that I cannot remember the last time I had damage in transit.
