Description
Spot Barnett Orch: Boney Shuffle / Summertime. Wildcat 0039, VG to VG+ with light groove wear and clean wax and labels. Barnett, a tenor sax player, led the house band at the Eastwood Country Club, the primary San Antonio venue for touring R&B and jazz talent during the 1950s and early 60s. Also the kind of place where people like Doug Sahm, Roy Head and Ray Liberto would sneak in. It's gone now.
Grading: M unplayed stock. M- looks M, not guaranteed. VG+ minimal groove wear, strong gloss, a few small surface scuffs or paper scratches, clean labels. VG light wear, good gloss, a few more scuffs and/or hair scratches. VG- moderate wear throughout, weak gloss, light noise. G heavy wear, no gloss, noisy. F wall-hanger unless rare. P wrecked; unplayable.
