Description
Offering is original owner’s 1957 RCA Victor Elvis Presley Single, 45 rpm record, “Too Much / Playing For Keeps”, No. 47-4800, with picture sleeve, 1st Pressing, Release Date: January 4, 1957. This particular copy is known as the “NO DOG” variation, since the RCA labels on the record lack the iconic image of dog “Nipper” (commonly shown on most Presley 45’s and 33 LP’s in the mid-to-late 1950’s) below the “RCA VICTOR” at the top of a label. This variation is harder to find and is a more sought-after, collectible Elvis’ 45 record. Specific descriptions are as follows:

PAPER PICTURE SLEEVE, FRONT & BACK – CONDITION: VERY GOOD. It has retained much of its original full color, rich glossy sheen / finish. On both sides - there are no tears, creases, seam splits, stains, fading, yellowing or discoloration. The cover, its corners and spine edge are in very good condition with no seam splits, tears, folds or bending. The front and back covers have orange owner’s markings. Both sides show very faint, minimal ring wear.
· VINYL RECORD
CONDITION: VERY GOOD+. Seldom played, the vinyl record’s playing surfaces are very clean and bright. The vinyl has retained its original gloss. There are no non-feelable surface marks on either side of the record. There are no feelable scratches or scruff marks. The vintage black and silver RCA VICTOR labels are in EXCELLENT condition with no spindle wear, stains, fading, scratches or discolorations.

Purchased in January 1957 at The House of Music, New Rochelle, NY. Always stored upright, kept in dry, non-smoking homes.
