The Crickets, 1957 vintage That'll Be the Day / I'm Lookin' for Someone to Love / Oh Boy! / Not Fade Away Brunswick EB-71036, original black & silver label Condition:
Disc:VG, nearly full gloss but some groove greying and a few light scratches. Still, it's the sleeve that matters more for a collectible like this...
Sleeve: VG++, almost no wear, no marks.
These discs have generally not been play-graded. All grades are visual, and I try to be conservative. Most discs of VG+ or better will offer an enjoyable listening experience with little or no surface noise.
G is a very scratchy disc, has been used and abused.
VG discs have numerous marks which will likely be audible.
E discs may have very faint marks, but look almost new.
Sleeve grades are tougher, and are based on the degree of overall shelfwear. Defects such as seamsplits, peels, stains, creases, writing, holes and notches, etc., are noted.
Any record may be returned for full refund for any reason. You must be happy.
Shipping starts at $3.00 for media mail and $5.00 for priority mail. It gets much cheaper for you with multiple purchases, add 50 cents media shipping for each additional disc. For multiple disc priority shipping we will make special arrangements (amount will depend on weight and zip code). International shipping at cost (depends on weight and country).
Insurance is suggested. I pack securely, but one never knows, and I won't assume responsibility for loss or damage. Insurance costs follow the USPS rate schedule. $1.30 for insured value up to $50; $2.20 up to $100, $3.20 up to $200, and so on.
