Jacket: VG+, small piece torn from back cover Record: VG++ Comments: Field recording by legendary Folklorist Samuel Charters of legendary Bahamin Guitarist Joseph Spence. Spence is sometimes compared to Howlin' Wolf for his vocal work but this recording focuses on his guitar playing which in itself is amazing. This music was recorded in 1958 this pressing comes with a booklet with a 1965 copyright on it so I will guess that this is a 1965 pressing. These recordings are chronicled in a recently published book on the Folkways label. I combine Shipping anf Handling , one to three LPs ship for one low price worldwide!
