Description
Here's a Lot of six C.P. MacGregor label 78s which I believe were made by Columbia for MacGregor.They seem to also be laminated just like the Columbia 78s.These are all black 78s with none being blue.I believe these are from the mid to late 1930s.FIRST RECORD is by Chick MacGregor And His Royal Highlanders.Label has the number 1675 & 1676.The All Ashore side has five light non feelable scratches and two small feelable scratches.Has multiple scuff marks which are mostly small and also two small feelable scuffs.I don;t believe any of the scuffs will affect play.Still has nice shine on grooves.The Who Blew Out The Flame side has seven light non feelable scratches and three small feelable scratches.Side has multiple scuffs that will not affect play.Has good shine on grooves.SECOND RECORD is also by Chick MacGregor And His Royal Highlanders.C.P. MacGregor label # 1677 and 1678.The When I Go A Dreamin' Side has five light non feelable scratches.No feelable scratches.Has lots of scuff marks that will not affect play.Has good shine on grooves.The Love Doesn't Grow On Trees side has six light non feelable scratches.Has some scuffing wear/multiple scuffs that will not affect play.Grooves have good shine.THIRD RECORD is on C.P. MacGregor label # 289 and 290.Not exactly sure who the artist is on this one.The 289 side has the song title I've Got A Sweetie In Tahiti written in pencil.The name written in pencil looks like it says Gene Close but I may be wrong.Also has trio vocal.This side has three light scratches and five feelable scratches.Has some scuffing which will not affect play.Has one small light 3/8th inch lam on this side only.It's right near edge and is light and non feelable.Will not affect play at all.Good decent shine on grooves.The other side's title written in pencil is Tryin' To Forgetcha.Just says Vocal Trio with no artist.Has two light non feelable scratches and three very small feelable scratches.Side has some scuffing that will not affect play.Side also has nice shine on grooves.I believe these next three records are most likely country records.FOURTH RECORD is by Dude Martin and is on C.P. MacGregor label # 185 and 186.The 185 side has High Toned Dance written in pencil.This side looks nice with two light non feelable scratches and two very small feelable scratches.Side has scuffing which will not affect play.Has good shine on grooves.Other side says Chisholm Trail by Dude Martin.This side has three light scratches.Has one small feelable scratch.Has scuffing that will not affect play.Side has groove wear but still has good decent shine.This side only has a 1 and 1/2 inch light lam on trail off area between label and grooves.It's non feelable and light only.FIFTH RECORD is on C.P. MacGregor label # 440 and 441.No artist written on label.Just says Cowboy along with the song titles.The Rocky Mountain Express side has four light scratches and four small feelable scratches.Has some scuffing that will not affect play.Has good shine on grooves.The other side says Riding That Ol Crooked Trail in pencil.This side has five light non feelable scratches and one small scratch that can be felt lightly.Has some scuff wear/multiple scuffs that will not affect play.Has nice shine on grooves.SIXTH RECORD is on C.P. MacGregor label # 253 and 187.The 253 side has no artist and has the song title Home On The Range written in pencil.This side has five light scratches and two scratches that can be felt lightly.Has some scuffing wear/multiple light scuffs that will not affect play.Good decent shine on grooves.The other side is number 187.This side has Press Along To The Big Corral written in pencil.This side has seven light non feelable scratches and one very small feelable scratch.Has some scuffing wear/multiple scuffs that will not affect play.Good shine on grooves.If buyer is not 100% satisfied I have a return on all records I sell.
