Description
Available at auction are 6 Capitol LP inner sleeves. During the Beatles' and Beach Boys' era Capitol Records used different colored inner sleeves.
12 TC-1 is Dark-Blue. It was used on original issues of "Meet The Beatles", and "Beatles' Second Album". There is a 3.5" seam-split on the bottom center and some wear along the top edge.
12 TC is Mustard. This sleeve was used on original issues of "Surfin' USA" and "Surfin' Safari" in 1963. There is a 3.25" seam-split on the bottom edge-center..
12 TC-1 is Aqua Blue. This sleeve was used on original issues of "Something New" and "The Beatles' Story". It has a 8.25" split on the bottom edge center and a 3" split on the left edge center.
PE 12-2ES is Olive-Green. It was used on "Help" and "Rubber Soul". There is a 2.5" seam-split on the bottom edge center.
PE 12-2FS is Gold. It was used on original "Yesterday and Today" and "Revolver" issues. There is a 5.5" seam-split on the bottom-edge center and a 1.5" split on the left edge center.
PE12-4BL is Light Brown (Tan). This sleeve was used on Capitol Records original 1967 issues and on Beatles' LP re-issues in 1967. Some think it may have rarely been used on "Magical Mystery Tour" and "Sgt. Pepper's" issues or re-issues. There is a 1/2" seam-split on the bottom edge center. Promo punch-hole in the bottom RH-corner.
